But when I blessed Him…

Talking about the heroes of our faith gets me excited.

Over dinner this evening, one of my personal heroes, Smith Wigglesworth cameĀ  up in conversation. The things the LORD used him to do for people were amazing. There are stories of radical salvations, re-growth of missing limbs and multiple dead-raisings. Discussing the majesty of God’s work through one person just gets my blood pumping.

Then I happened to stumble across this verse from the book of Isaiah:

“Abraham was only one man when I called him. But when I blessed him, he became a great nation.” – Isaiah 51:2

Can you see the impossibilities disappearing? Can you see difficulties becoming victories?

You may be one person. You may have inadequacies. You may have challenges.

But when the LORD blesses you… everything changes. WOW.

I got this message today too. I had actually made the decision to reread the book “The Prayer of Jabez” and I started at lunch today. I am praying this prayer daily for us and for LifeBridge. How cool that as I prayed this prayer today, we are now in need of God’s blessing. I am praying that we all go from being “one man” to receiving the blessing that makes us “a great nation”. Praying for you all as well!! XO (BTW) LOVE this picture!!!
